Sony To Launch Rival to Apple's iPod Shuffle in AprilHere come the big guns, and it's about time. After failing miserably to jump on the portable music player bandwagon with previous attempts at anything resembling an MP3 player, Sony is about to launch a new mini-player to compete with Apple's iPod Shuffle. With a memory capacity ranging from 256MB to 1GB, Sony's player will be able to store up to about 700 songs with the higher-capacity unit. And unlike the iPod Shuffle, Sony's unit will have a screen.
